Daniel Borrás
Head of Editorial Content, GQ Spain
Daniel Borrás is one of the most prestigious journalists in the Spanish publishing entourage. His devotion to pop culture and his love for the magazine’s world, combined with his vast knowledge of fashion culture, give him a unique analytical vision. After joining Condé Nast in 2015 as Vogue Fashion Editor, Borrás – who had already worked as a contributor to the digital edition of GQ – became GQ Spain Editor-in-Chief in 2018. Under his leadership, GQ reached 7,7M across all its platforms in Spain, and became a reference in cultural journalism with a progressive, open and forward-looking vision of the new masculine sensibility that GQ has contributed to shaping.
Since 2020 to 2022, Borrás was also Glamour Spain’s Editor-in-Chief.
With a degree in journalism from Cardenal Herrera CEU University in Valencia, Borrás began his career at the newspaper El Mundo in 2005, where he worked for a decade and specialized in culture and fashion.
In 2013 he was part of the National Fashion Design Award jury, the most prestigious distinction in Spain in the sector. A year later, he participated in the book ‘Illustration Fashion Now’ published by Taschen.
Borrás has also curated two exhibitions on fashion, photography and urban cultures: ‘A Real Story’ (2014, Espai Rambleta) and ‘Wasted Youth’ (2015, Las Naves), both in Valencia. He is also a teacher at the Vogue College Spain.
